Winter Adventure

X-country skiing -Glide on several trails from 2.4km to 10 km on the Sand Dunes ski trail. The cross-country ski season here usually lasts from late December or early January through March. Trails are groomed regularly, and there's firewood for building a fire at the warming cabin by the entrance. There's a pit toilet, and winter seating and picnic tables in the warming cabin. Half a mile north of U.S. 2 on H-57/ Brevort Lake Rd. Call (906) 643-7900 for trail conditions. Handicap accessible: interpretive site. No pit toilets or trails.
	Snowmobiling- Thousands of miles of trails can be accessed from Voyager Inn's front door. Rentals available wit complete guided trips.
Dog Sledding- From the races to the rides you can enjoy some of the best athletes on the planet
	Hockey-  The U.P pond hockey is just one of the tournaments held in St. Ignace. Special rates available for hockey teams.
Tubing-Silver Mountain Ski hill has tubes to rent a warming chalet and a moderate ski hill, for snowboarding and skiing.
Ice Fishing- Dig a hole, stick a line in and wait for a tug. Its that easy! Guide service available!
